Good Gravy It's Been A Long Time Since I've Posted!!

I simply can *not* believe how much time has gone by since my last post. LOTS of stuff has happened since early Dec. and I have a ton of pictures just waiting to be shared. My old computer bit the dust and then we were having problems with our internet connection. I was like an addict going through withdrawels when I couldn't check my email or get online. I now have a shiny new PC with lots of memory. Yeah!!!

During my absence, I actually stamped a fewcards, made some new digi scrap pages, and read lots of good books.

In early December I tagged along on one of my hubby's business trips to NYC. We had a total blast!!! It was soooooo much fun. NYC is one of my all time favorite places to visit. While I was there I took a day trip to Connecticut to see my LOSTie friend Jessica. Our other LOSTie friend Edie came up (or over?? I dunno, my geography skills stink) from Rhode Island, and we spent a very pleasant day together. Edie made a YUMMY peanut butter pie and we celebrated my 39th birthday. There's nothing better than getting together with sweet friends and yummy pie. We also had a chance to go to Jessica's LSS, and I *finally* got to see my first REAL aMuse stamps in person. I had to buy a few of them.

While we were in NYC, we saw two shows: Legally Blonde (super cute, fun show to see!) and The Drowsy Chaperone (very entertaining). While Darren was in meetings I entertained myself by walking all over the place or by taking subways to various locations. We didn't see the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero or some of the other "top" tourists spots because we did that on our last trip. I tried to see some different sights this year. Some of the new places I saw on this trip were the NY Public Library and the Musuem of Natural History. One morning we happened to walk by Good Morning America, and we saw Ben Affleck being interviewed by Diane Sawyer. I couldn't see him because of the crowd and Darren kept telling me that he know I would recognize the actor if I saw him. My first question was if he played on my favorite show LOST. : ) I ended up going to a different spot, and I had the PERFECT view of Ben Affleck.

We also walked around Central Park which was neat. I would ***love*** to go back in the spring when everything is green and blooming.

These photos are from Central Park. The frames are in Corina's Bucket of Fun Doodle Frame kit. I think I purchased the frames from The Lily Pad.

MMMMMMMMMM gravy. It is good.

Good to see you posting again! Did you see that I chatted you up at my LSS? You are now famous in Utah for your digi-Valentines!

I should tell them next time I go that you *met* Ben Afleck. Maybe I'll get a discount. ;)
