I've made several digi scrap pages (some I really like, others are in the so-so category) over the last several days. I'll have to start posting them so you can check them out. Here is one page that I am VERY pleased with. It just fell together in a short period of time. I love it when that happens!!

By the way, Jennifer hosts a twice monthly challenge at Digital Freebies. It is called "Double Trouble Template Challenge." Check it out--you won't be disappointed. In fact, the above page was my FIRST time to ever enter a challenge. : )

Cupcake celebrated her 9th birthday on Saturday the 29. She's been looking forward to her birthday for the last several months, and she'd make comments like, "Can you BELIEVE that I'm going to be 9?" and "Can you believe that I'm getting to be such a big girl?" and "Don't forget that my birthday is coming up!" I got a good laugh when I was checking the calendar several weeks ago, and I noticed that she wrote 'Buy Allyson's present' two weeks before the big day.
We haven't had her birthday party yet, and we will plan it for sometime in April. I'm glad that we didn't plan a big party for the day of her birth because she ended up getting sick. I took her to the dr. on Saturday, and she was diagnosed with strep. She got a shot of penicillin, and by the end of the day, she was fever free and in good spirits. It was tough going for awhile, and she was NOT happy about being sick on her special day.

I finally finished reading Death Tidies Up, a Charlotte LaRue mystery written by Barbara Colley. Charlotte is the owner of A Maid For A Day cleaning service, and an amatuer sleuth. This is the second book in the series, and I enjoyed it. I really dislike reading books out of order, but my library didn't have the first book. I just started reading the 3rd book, and so far I'm enjoying it. There are 7 books in the series, and Colley is working on book 8.

We have a late baseball game tonight so this is all that I have time to post. Tomorrow I'll post about a WONDERFUL designer--Alice Koh--and I'll share a layout that I did with one of her AWESOME double page templates.
