Digi Scrapbooking

I finally jumped on the digital scrapbooking bandwagon, and I'm glad that I did. It is fun!! Plus, I don't have to dig out gobs of paper, photos, embellishments and glue. All I need to do is turn on my PC, find the files that I want and use them. Easy Peasy!!

Here is the second page that I created. I'm still in the beginning stages and am slowly learning how to manipulate the layers, etc. I use Photoshop Elements 5.0. I am slowly getting the hang of using this software. My brain isn't the best at taking the time to slowly learn new skills, and I struggle with wanting to do it ALL immediately.

Allyson's page consists of freebies and bought digital supplies. Most of the flowers are from a great online store called Scrap Girls. I have really enjoyed all of the items that I've bought from them. Check out their web site, and sign up for their free newsletter. It is jam packed with helpful hints, daily freebies, and an awesome boutique. There is also a HUGE free digital scrapbooking kit that you can download. The letter A and the tan frame w/ small green flowers, large flower and ribbon are freebies that I downloaded. The frame is VERY easy to use it is all in one piece. All I had to do is add my own photograph.

Materials:

Brandy Hackman's Blossoms and Bloom Fall Embellishment Biggie Click here for the link. You can buy her wonderful kits at the Scrap Girls digi store.

Cardboard Base Paper: Sasha Jane's Cardboard Chaos. I bought the paper kit from My Digital Muse, but they are no longer in business. You might be able to search for Sasha Jane's designs on the internet and find a new source for her great stuff.

Letter "A"--freebie. I'm not sure WHO designed it or where it came from. All I know is that it is eds_alpha.

Embellished Frame--I think this was a freebie. It is called KSC_crispautumnair_embellishedframe.

Font--not sure--mabye Minion Pro??

Photo--my sweet cupcake at the Come and Take It parade. I wish I had changed the busy background behind her head, but I didn't take the time to do since I was in a rush to play with my digital scrapbooking toys.
