Happy Halloween!!!

So did you get your fill of sweet treats and scary tricks today? We had a really fun Halloween full of candy, pizza, and friends. Every year we have a small group of family and friends come over and our kids trick-or-treat in the neighborhood. This year we had 13 adults & 10 kids come over for the annual Candy Fest. Three of our nieces and Darren's oldest brother and his wife weren't able to come over, and it was strange not having all of the Schauer kids together for a group photo.

Allyson dressed up as a geisha this year, and she looked so pretty in her costume. She didn't want to paint up her face "geisha style" but she still enjoyed dressing up and spending time with her cousins and friends.

Travis did NOT dress up, and part of me is sad to see my boy growing up. He decided that he is too old for going door to door for treats. His favorite part of the evening was hiding in the bushes and scary people as they came to our front door. Boys! **shaking my head**

One of our favorite houses to visit is Mr. & Mrs. King's house. Every year they pull out all the stops decorating their house and yard. Mr. King ALWAYS dresses up and he gets a huge kick out of "scaring" the kids. He makes a lasting impression on the kids!! My niece Bailey that lives in Richland Hills was able to TorT with us a couple of years ago, and she still talks about how cool the King house is at Halloween.

My photos are still sitting on my memory card, and I'll post pics tomorrow once I've transferred them to my PC.
