Cupcake is Fever Free!!!

Let me start this post by saying, "Praise the Lord, Cupcake woke up with out a fever."


Exactly 7 days ago, Cupcake started running a fever and complaining of a headache and stomachache. She slept late this morning and woke up in a GREAT mood. She was so excited when she learned that she didn't have any fever, that she immediately called her daddy to tell him the wonderful news. Even though he was in a meeting, he quickly answered the call, and rejoiced with us about the good news. She is still coughing and pale, but these things will hopefully start improving soon.


She is working on some homework right now and once she is at a good stopping point, we are going to bake cookies.


In other family news, Travis is getting very excited about his first football game tomorrow. We are driving to Yorktown and will be playing the Yorktown _(something)__ I can't think of their team name right now. I *love* watching my kids play sports, and I get the biggest kick out of cheering for them. At the same time though, my stomach gets in knots, and I want them to do well and be safe, especially when Trav is playing football. So many things can happen during contact sports!! I hope that Allyson continues to improve so that we can watch his first game. Besides, we have our brand spankin' new Team Shirts that we want to wear!!
