Relaxing Day Stamping

Happy Labor Day! I hope that everyone had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying a day off from work. I had a very relaxing day just hanging around the house & stamping with my friend Loretta. I managed to stamp 4 cards which is a HUGE number of cards for me since I'm a very slow stamper. Normally my family and I would spend the day at the lake with our extended family, but since little Cupcake is sick, we stayed home. The poor girl has been sick since Friday. I'm taking her to the doctor on Tuesday morning and I hope that he can fix her up. It's not any fun being sick.

Here is one card that I made. It is a super EASY card, and since it is PINK, I am quite pleased with it. Cupcake looked at it and told me, "Mom, you really need to get out of your pink phase." LOL. It seems like almost everything I stamp is pink.

My card measures 5.5 inches x 4.25 inches. After I finished my card, I thought that it needed a little oomph, so I added Icicle stickles to some of the swirls. The photo does not do the card any justice--it is much prettier in real life.

Stamps: Adorable Backgrounds (Close To My Heart) and Make A Wish (Printworks Collection)

Paper: Basic Black, Pixie Pink & Whisper White (all paper is from SU!)

Ink: Basic Black & Pixie Pink (SU!)

Other: scallop scissors& Icicle Stickles.
