Fabulous Day At the Lake

We spent the day at the lake, and we enjoyed picture perfect weather. It was in the low 90's and breezy. Since this was the first time since Mother's Day weekend that we were able to go to the camphouse, we did as much as we could. The kids swam in the lake, rode on the Waverunner and in the boat. They knee-boarded and got pulled in the extra-large innertube. Travis and Trent even took the canoe out for a spin. Whenever the kids got out of the lake, they would play volleyball.

This is one of my favorite photos of the day. I wish I knew what Allyson and her sweet cousin Nicki were talking about. Doesn't it look like they are sharing a deep-dark secret with each other?

What a wonderful day!! I know that the kids had a blast playing with each other.
